Graham Widger BSc Physiotherapy MSc Exercise and Nutrition Science MISCP
Graham graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. He has worked in private practice in Dublin, Wicklow and Castlebar treating a variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
He was the Chartered Physiotherapist for the Castlebar Rugby Team for the 2017/2018 season helping them to promotion and also worked with the GAA Mayo Minors and Castlebar Mitchels players during this time.
Also while living out West, Graham lectured in NUI Galway to medical students on anatomy and musculoskeletal conditions. This was a wonderful opportunity to work alongside both current and future physicians and further the understanding of the role physiotherapy can play with regard to different medical cases and how both professions can complement each other for better patient care.
Graham has completed extensive training in the areas of manual therapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports medicine, dry needling and APPI Pilates. Graham uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise to successfully treat and rehabilitate his patients.
Graham is married and has four young kids. In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, playing tennis and training in the gym. He is passionate about movement, health and maintaining an active lifestyle. He aims to help all his patients by not just eliminating their pain but also by enabling them to live a healthier life and reach goals they never thought they could.
